Chef Daniel Kim is a former United States Naval Officer and professional sushi chef located in Jacksonville, FL. He first started his culinary career in traditional fine dining. His background in recreational fishing along with his passion for culinary and fondness of creative art led him to a career in sushi. Chef Daniel is currently the exclusive Sushi Chef of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was also Sushi Chef at both O-ku Restaurant, ranked #1 in 2025 by Jacksonville Magazine, and Norikase Restaurant, the runner-up to O-ku. Chef Daniel is a Master-Roller as he has made hundreds of thousands of rolls throughout his sushi career.

Just bring yourself! All food, tools, and sushi-making equipment are provided. You’ll also get a take-home kit so you can keep rolling like a pro at home.
You will receive a sushi knife, bamboo rolling mat, set of chopsticks, chopsticks holder, soy sauce dipping bowl, and rectangular sushi serving plate.
Yes, all ingredients are gluten free.
Yes, in addition to the vegetable roll, you can always substitute vegetable ingredients when making any non-vegetarian rolls.
The only roll with shellfish is the California roll that uses real, authentic crab meat. However, you can always substitute a vegetable ingredient when making this roll.
You will learn how to make 3 different rolls which possess different dynamics in texture and nuances in rolling techniques: California Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Vegetable Roll.
To maximize the time spent on rolling instruction and hands-on practice, all ingredients will be prepped ahead of time. However, Chef Daniel will explain and demonstrate how each ingredient was prepared. You will also receive a recipe guide for all the ingredients and sauces.
Perfect! This class is for you! No prior experience is required. This class is beginner-friendly and guided by a Master-Roller Sushi Chef. You will learn everything you need to know and leave with the confidence to roll like a pro at home.

The full experience runs about 2 hours and includes a 10 minute break.
Due to limited seating and upfront costs, all unused or partially used ticket sales are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend after purchase, we are happy to allow you to transfer your ticket to a family member, friend, colleague, or anyone you know who may enjoy the ticket.
